We’re sad to see our Pier Street Manager Kirstin Milliken say goodbye. Kirstin has been with Bodhi J for five years, and we’ve loved having her. Before she goes we sat down and asked her some questions.
What have the last five years at Bodhi J taught you?
1. The little things really make a big impact for an amazing day spa experience.
2. You can do SO MUCH with natural and organic products.
3. A holistic approach to beauty. Helping guests work internal as well as external naturally, may it be advice on gut health, skin or relaxing the mind and body through our spa treatments to reach their goal.
Best travel experience to date?
I have traveled around the world, I don’t know if this counts but flying down south to Leeuwin Estate for lunch for one of Chelsea’s and I Christmas present with Tania and Danny has to be a highlight in my life I will never forget. I will always be so grateful for these kind opportunities I would have never been able to experience if I didn’t work at Bodhi J.
Favourite Bodhi J treatment? What will you be coming back for?
Li’tya Kodo Massage. We all live such a fast paced lifestyle it’s good to slow down, be present and reconnect with ourselves which I find the Kodo does just that. It’s a very grounding treatment and you are left feeling very relaxed and light.
We are going to miss you, Kirstin! What will you miss most about Bodhi J?
Working in such a beautiful tranquil space and seeing the reaction of new guests walking in the door. I love all of Pier Street’s beautiful regular guests and of course my own regulars who followed me from Wembley when that was the only location! I’ll miss manager meetings, trips to Bali and Sydney, and Christmas parties. And of course I will miss my Pier Street team and being a part of the massive Bodhi J family.
